Get involved

We’re always interested in hearing from our local community about becoming a member or a partnership.

Membership types

We welcome applications for the following memberships at the garden. All members are invited to be a part of social and fundraising events. Please note that memberships are subject to availability.

Plot holder: Responsible for leasing an individual plot in the garden, including all maintenance and upkeep. You can keep whatever you grow, or choose to share any excess. Annual fee applies.

Orchard member: Responsible for a shared area, with an expectation that you will be involved with its upkeep throughout the year. This involves pruning, weeding, pest inspection, spraying, netting, and picking. The crop of the orchard is shared among active orchard members. Annual fee applies.

Volunteer: Welcome to join garden members at any time throughout the year to help out with our weekly working bees, events, and workshops. No fee applies.

Partner with us

We greatly appreciate the support of our local community. As a not-for-profit community organisation, we would not be where we are today without the generosity of donations and partnership.

Please email our Chairperson Marina Birch if you would like to discuss partnering with us.

Supporting our local community

We are also proud to support our local community by regularly donating produce to a local women’s shelter and food relief service Pathway Community Centre.

We are also involved in projects with:

  • Citrus Australia: Volunteering as part of their Citrus Watch program to identify local and new exotic pests in the area by setting traps, collecting data and sending it off to be analysed.

  • Trees For Life SA: Helping to re-establish native flora and fauna in the local area.
